ESTERFIL manufactured by SORSA
Esterfil is a monofilament polyester wire that Sorsa produces since more than 30 years and that’s used for the following applications:
- Shading systems in greenhouses.
- Construction wires for tunnel greenhouses.
- Baling of hay, alfalfa and waste.
- Industrial brushes.
- Clamping and stapling wire for vineyards and orchards.
- Trellis wire for fruit growing (grapes, kiwis etc.)
- Insect protection nets for olive trees.
- Coverage of water storage basins.

CONTINUOUS Improvements
Sorsa has made several accelerated aging tests in an independent lab in Holland (Kiwa) during the last couple of years to monitor the improvement of the durability of the wire. The result of these tests help us to improve the product even more and recommend the most suitable wire for whichever specific application in each geographical area.
Depending on the needs of the customer and application, Sorsa recommends the appropriate wire with or without additional UV protection. (Premium wire) to guarantee the longest possible durability if so required.

- By using specially developed additives, our Premium wire offers a more durable alternative with a minimal loss of properties which enables us to guarantee a life spam of 10 years or more in places with a high level of radiation.
